THRIVE HR UK Announces Specialist Move into Third Sector with a Free Workshop for Charity Leaders

THRIVE HR UK has officially announced its transition to a specialist HR function dedicated entirely to supporting the third sector. Founded by HR expert Sarah Hooper, who brings extensive corporate generalist knowledge handling workforces of up to 800 people, the company is reframing its mission to bridge the gap between strict employment law compliance and the unique, heart-led dynamics of charities and Community Interest Companies (CICs).

The third sector excels at looking after society; THRIVE’s core philosophy is to look after them. To celebrate this dedicated focus and support local Shropshire community organisations, THRIVE will host a free, interactive workshop at Sweeney Hall on 23rd July from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm - Radical Burnout: Tackling Burnout & Setting Boundaries in the Third Sector.

The workshop is specifically designed for charity founders, CEOs, and small leadership teams who excel at front-line delivery but face overwhelming pressure managing legal compliance, risk, and shifting legislation.

Attendees will gain purpose-driven solutions for navigating the common sticking points of the sector, including recognising the signs of burnout, identifying the root causes such as personal habits and unique workplace contributors, boundary setting, with all attendees leaving with a realistic action plan to tackle burnout within their organisation.

"Compliance keeps the doors open, but managing a passionate, blended workforce of paid staff alongside unpaid volunteers requires a delicate, empathetic touch,"says Sarah, Founder of THRIVE HR UK.

"We know that third-sector organisations face acute challenges right now. From radical burnout and boundary management to continuous restructuring due to funding uncertainties. This workshop is an opportunity for senior leaders to step away from the daily whirlwind, review their human foundations, and learn how to build sustainable, intentional structures that protect their long-term community impact."

Spaces are limited to ensure a collaborative environment where leaders can share experiences safely.

To register for your free place, please find THRIVE and make your booking via Eventbrite.
